Rapid build

Prototyping against your production systems, iterative demonstrations, and integration with the platforms it must interoperate with.

Week 4

Toll gate

Go / no-go decision, ROI analysis, production roadmap, handover.

The toll gate is a genuine decision point. A no-go is a legitimate and valuable outcome, and we will recommend one where the evidence supports it — four weeks spent establishing that an approach will not work is considerably less costly than discovering it in delivery.

The distinction matters commercially. Where an engagement is scoped around capacity, accountability for the gap between what was delivered and what was actually required sits with nobody in particular. Where it is scoped around an outcome, it sits with us.

Augmentation as a starting position

We continue to place specialists at short notice, and we have a strong track record doing so. A number of our most substantial engagements began with a single hard-to-fill role.

That capability remains part of what we offer. What has changed is that we treat it as the opening stage of an engagement rather than its full extent, and we will advise early — typically within the first month — where a POD would better serve the objective. Where augmentation is genuinely what the situation requires, that is what we deliver.
